Wednesday 1st March – bike ** Around Felixstowe – mainly cloudy with cold northerly breeze.

Walk – short Felixstowe prom.

Not a very inspiring day today, mainly cloudy with a continued chilly breeze from the north, as Mag had a friend coning around this afternoon, we did not have long to do anything after I had finished my exercises. So, we had a short walk down to the seafront with the wind turbines standing clearly out on the horizon. It was chilly walking along the seafront so we headed up through the Spa Garden shortly after passing the theatre and back home after a quick trip to town.

Bike.

I was keen to get out on my bike this afternoon as haven’t been on it since 13th February, Mag was not keen on me going after she has recently been knocked off her bike, her face has healed well but her broken arm is in a full cast for another month and her front teeth are not great but I said I would be very careful and set off at 1.45. Trying to avoid as many roads as possible, it is scary out there with motorists going past too fast and too close I cycled to the woods at The Grove where the snowdrops are still going strong. Then onto Candlet Road stopping off at the Trimley Churches where the daffs are now out to get some pics. Over to the large green footbridge over the railway line to the three tree deer field where I spotted 4 deer. Then I continued back to Felixstowe along the tree lined path, a tree had blocked it but you could get around OK. Then home for a warming cuppa and chat with Mag’s friend, she left and another old friend arrived with more flowers for Mag, that two bunches she got today:) She has another visit to the dentist tomorrow so am hoping her teeth calm down soon!
I thought I had a good start to the new month when I noticed my name appear on Chris Pages ITV About Anglia weather forecast but sadly the picture shown was not one of mine even though I had sent some nice ones in :(

PS – its not much fun biking by myself and can’t wait for my cycling partner Mag to get fit again but she is not very keen and using her bike again:(
